Stewarding at the Show
Enclosed is a form asking for your help as a steward at the Show this year. These forms should be returned by Monday 4 June 2018 at the very latest to Barbara Purkis, 185 Millmead Road, Margate, CT9 3TJ.
Garden Life Marquee
Our Garden Life Marquee has undergone some exciting changes for 2018. This year, the marquee will be enjoying a new, more prominent location. Sitting closer to the main entrance and on a tarmac road, the new location will encourage more visitors to this beautiful area of the Show. In the Garden Life Marquee for 2018, we will also be marking the centenary of the end of the First World War with a community built knitted poppy display. The Garden Life Marquee will once again be hosting the Flower Show, NAFAS floral art competition, Kent Federation of Horticultural Societies Summer Show, sundries stands, the miniature garden competition for Schools and the Kent Bees and Honey Show. The demonstration stage with guest speakers, the garden café and plant creche will also be returning.
